The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC), with support from the European Union (EU), is implementing a 10-week full-time Legislative Internship Program for young Nigerians interested in gaining practical knowledge of legislative processes at the National Assembly.
Internship Overview:
- Duration: May 2026 – July 2026 (10 weeks)
- Location: Abuja, FCT
- Hands-on exposure to legislative practice and procedures
- Opportunity to learn directly within the National Assembly environment
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen aged 21–35 years
- Minimum of a first degree from a recognized tertiary institution
- Must have completed the NYSC Programme
- Strong English writing and speaking skills
- Good computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Logistics & Support:
- Stipends provided to cover transportation and lunch within Abuja
- Interns will cover accommodation and other personal expenses
- Applicants should be able to reside in Abuja or fund their stay
- No accommodation or relocation support will be provided
CV Requirements:
Must include:
- State of origin
- Date of birth
- NYSC service details (place of service)
- Add a Statement of Purpose (max. 300 words) on the last page explaining your interest
- CV should not exceed 2 pages
- Statement + CV must be combined into one document (max. 3 pages total)
- You will also paste your Statement of Purpose into the online form
