Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Head of Chancellery, the Visa Agent will be responsible for reviewing and processing visa applications, ensuring full compliance with established regulations, and making informed decisions on applications.
The role also includes serving as a deputy in the absence of the Head of the Consular Section.

Key Responsibilities:
Visa Services:
- Apply and monitor visa regulations and procedures
- Review, verify, and assess visa application files
- Make decisions on visa applications in line with policy guidelines
- Supervise and coordinate activities of service providers
- Contribute to improving service delivery and quality standards
- Train and oversee staff and temporary personnel
Chancellery & Consular Affairs:
- Provide assistance and reception services to French citizens
- Maintain the Register of French citizens abroad
- Issue French biometric and emergency passports
- Manage civil status records and administrative documentation
- Handle PACS, nationality files, school scholarships, and election processes
- Support social affairs and implement security and evacuation plans
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven knowledge of consular services within the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE/IFAAC)
- Familiarity with local languages and regional context is an added advantage
- Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
