Job Overview
This role is based in Maiduguri and requires strict adherence to company standards in safety, environmental practices, and engineering regulations. Candidates must demonstrate strong teamwork, transparency, and commitment to quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine on-site inspections to ensure maintenance and engineering works meet defined standards, schedules, and safety requirements.
- Enforce compliance with TotalEnergies’ safety policies, including the Golden Rules and STOP Card system.
- Monitor contractors to ensure quality standards and adherence to approved work scope and bill of quantities.
- Issue general and specialized work permits (e.g., hot work, tank entry, fire permits) and ensure full compliance by all parties involved.
- Identify maintenance faults, evaluate repair needs, and report to the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineer.
- Request and manage quotations from registered contractors within the assigned area.
- Carry out minor emergency repairs when necessary.
- Support installation and distribution of equipment such as fire extinguishers, shelves, and other network assets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of company assets, including pumps, generators, compressors, and more.
- Monitor pump flow rates and ensure they meet required operational standards.
- Execute price adjustments when directed by the Maintenance Engineer.
Requirements
- OND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
- Valid driver’s license with defensive driving experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and maintenance management software
