The Nigerian Genius brings together Nigeria’s brightest minds to solve Nigeria’s most complex engineering and manufacturing challenges.
The campus edition specifically assembles ingenious engineering students from diverse tertiary institutions to acquire and apply advanced engineering skills in devising effective solutions for Nigeria’s most pressing issues.

- Benefits: The winning team will receive a cash prize of 1 million naira to further develop their solution.
Criteria for The Nigerian Genius Competition 2026
- Applicants must be undergraduates in a Nigerian University or Polytechnic.
- Each team should be made up of 3 persons, It is highly advisable to include a female in your team.
- Each team should have complementary skills such as: CAD, CAM, Embedded systems, PCB, welding and fabrication, etc.
