The program provides intensive training in high-demand tech fields, combining foundational knowledge with practical learning. Participants are supported throughout the program with guidance, assessments, and opportunities to demonstrate commitment and growth.
This application form serves as the first stage of the selection process and helps the Academy understand each applicant’s background, interests, goals, and availability.
Program Description:
The She Code Africa Academy program is a 3-month virtual intensive program to empower Nigerian women to launch successful technological careers. This initiative addresses the gender gap in the tech industry across Africa and globally while providing valuable skills and opportunities to a traditionally underrepresented group. The program will offer comprehensive training in key tech areas and community support upon completion.

Available Learning Tracks
Participants will receive training and develop proficiency in one of the following areas:
- Cybersecurity
- Data Science
- DevOps Engineering
Applicants will be required to indicate their preferred learning track during the application process.
EligibilityÂ
Please confirm that you meet the following requirements before proceeding with the application. This step ensures that all applicants align with the program’s eligibility criteria.
- Identify as a Nigerian woman or girl.
- Fall within the age range of 16-35 years old.
- Must have foundational knowledge in Technology (basic digital literacy and familiarity with productivity tools)
- Demonstrate beginner or foundational knowledge and/or interest in the chosen track.
- Possess a working laptop and consistent internet connectivity throughout the program’s duration.
- Be able to commit to attending live classes virtually 3 times a week for the 12-week bootcamp duration.
- Be available for monthly check-in calls.
- Priority consideration will be given to applicants who are beginners

Applicants who progress to the final stage will be required to:
- Upload a 90-second video explaining their motivation for the program
- Clearly demonstrate commitment to their chosen learning track
- Share their goals and how the program fits into their career journey
Step 3: Review and Selection
Upon submission:
- Applications will be reviewed by the She Code Africa team
- Successful candidates will be contacted with details on the next steps
- Selected participants will receive onboarding information ahead of the 2026 program start
