Overview
We are seeking a Security Engineer to design and implement security solutions for Java-based applications and cloud environments. The role focuses on securing microservices, APIs, and databases while integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security for Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures
- Perform SAST, DAST, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing
- Secure APIs, authentication systems (OAuth, SAML, RBAC), and encryption protocols
- Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and compliance requirements
- Ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Strong Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security experience
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, encryption (AES, RSA), and API security
- Experience with security tools like SonarQube, Snyk
