The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, invites applications for the Lagos Agripreneurship Programme (LAP) — a hands-on initiative designed to equip young Nigerians with modern agricultural and agribusiness skills.

This programme offers practical training across key agricultural value chains, with stipends and real business exposure to help you kickstart a career in agriculture.

Programme Options

One-Month Intensive Training (Epe – Araga)

Training areas include:

  • Poultry
  • Piggery
  • Aquaculture
  • Vegetable Value Chains
  • E-Agric
  • Agribusiness

After training:

  • 3-month Internship & Mentorship with commercial farms
  • ₦15,000 transport stipend after training
  • ₦20,000 monthly stipend during internship

Ten-Day Training (Agege – Oko-Oba)

Focus areas:

  • Poultry
  • Aquaculture
  • Snail Farming
  • Vegetables
  • Urban Agriculture

Includes enterprise activation after completion.

Training Stipend

Participants receive between ₦10,000 – ₦15,000 during the programme.
