FrontHill Controls is currently recruiting Graduate Trainees for its engineering team. This opportunity is specifically open to NYSC corps members who want to gain practical experience in engineering systems, automation, and industrial technology.
The program offers hands-on exposure to real engineering projects, allowing trainees to develop practical technical skills while working alongside experienced engineers.
Successful candidates will assist with the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of various electrical, mechanical, and computer-based systems.
Job Responsibilities
Graduate trainees will work closely with engineering teams and contribute to various technical and operational projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and computer-based systems
- Supporting preventive and corrective maintenance of engineering equipment and infrastructure
- Participating in project planning, implementation, and documentation
- Conducting technical inspections and troubleshooting of systems and machinery
- Preparing technical reports, documentation, and performance analyses
- Supporting automation and control system operations as well as IT-related engineering tasks
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company operational policies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete engineering projects
- Performing other technical or engineering-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng or B.Tech) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technology discipline
- Minimum of one year of hands-on technical experience
- Must be a currently serving NYSC corps member
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and industry practices
- Familiarity with engineering software or tools such as:
- AutoCAD
- MATLAB
- PLC systems
- Other engineering or IT tools (an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment
- Ability to multitask and work independently when required
