Ericsson, in collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria, and under the framework of their ongoing technology partnership, is inviting applications for the 2026 Ericsson National Hackathon and Ericsson Educate Program.
This flagship initiative is designed to empower young tech talents, innovators, entrepreneurs, and students to develop real-world solutions using digital technologies and 5G-enabled innovations.
The programme builds on existing partnerships and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between Ericsson and Nigeria, focused on digital skills development, innovation ecosystem growth, and the expansion of 5G technologies across the country.
About the Initiative
The Ericsson National Hackathon is a competitive, innovation-driven event that brings together multidisciplinary teams to design, prototype, and present technology-based solutions to pressing local and national challenges.
It is complemented by the Ericsson Educate Program—Ericsson’s global digital learning platform—which provides free, self-paced training in cutting-edge technologies, including:
