Fellowship Overview
Dev-Afrique is offering a six-month fellowship in Nigeria for individuals passionate about communications and social impact. As a Corporate Communications Fellow, you will craft compelling narratives that strengthen Dev-Afrique’s brand, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support strategic initiatives.
This role involves managing both internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create engaging content across multiple communication channels.
- Support external communications, including press releases, media relations, and crisis communication.
- Create and curate content for the organization’s website, social media platforms, and other channels.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating global and regional events, conferences, and webinars to promote Dev-Afrique and its partners’ initiatives.
- Provide communications support for internal initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with organizational goals.
- Prepare reports on communications activities and assess their impact on organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related roles.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of media relations and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with the development sector and social impact initiatives is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
