The Oxford Africa Policy Innovation Blueprint Competition 2026 is more than just a contest — it is a platform for young Africans to rethink systems, challenge institutions, and propose practical solutions that truly work.
We are seeking bold, well-grounded policy ideas that address real institutional challenges across the continent, bridging the gap between top-down design and lived realities.
What You’ll Do
Develop a Policy Innovation Blueprint (maximum 2,500 words) focused on adaptive, systems-level solutions in areas such as:
- Governance
- Economic development
- Energy
- Technology
- And more
What’s at Stake
- Paid internship with the Club of Rome (Earth4All initiative)
- Opportunity to present your work live at the Oxford Africa Conference 2026
- Chance to develop your idea into a globally distributed policy brief
Who Can Apply
- African students worldwide
- Young professionals under the age of 30
Selected Participants Will:
- Secure a paid remote internship with the Club of Rome (Earth4All initiative)
- Participate in an internship running from September to December (£1,200/month)
- Present at the Oxford Africa Conference 2026
- Contribute to a global policy brief
