Job Description 

  • We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with a strong background in user interface design, user experience principles, and a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing software products and designs

Responsibilities

Design and Development

  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Develop high-fidelity prototypes and final visual designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into user-centric designs.

User Research

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Analyse user feedback and activity to iterate and improve the user experience.

UI/UX Best Practices

  • Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Ensure designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and design system.
  • Advocate for best practices in user interface and user experience design.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
  • Present and defend design decisions to peers and executive level stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers as needed.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them in design.
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years hands on experience in UI/UX Design with portfolio showcasing your work
  • Experience working with a software or technology company will be an added advantage.
