Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic and sales.
  • his role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Manage and oversee the company’s social media accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (including text, images, videos, and graphics) that resonates with our target audience.
  • Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, and report on key metrics such as engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build strong online communities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, design, customer success) to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Implement and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and performance tracking.
  • Organize and run social media promotional activities to boost engagement.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage social media crises and handle any negative feedback or issues professionally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager for 2 – 3 years.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create and curate high-quality, engaging content.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social platform insights).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proximity to Lagos is important.

Salary: N150,000 monthly.
