Salary: NGN 250,000 – 400,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop, curate, and manage engaging content (text, images, videos) that resonates with the car enthusiast community and aligns with our brand identity.
  • Social Media Strategy: Design and implement a social media strategy aimed at growing brand awareness, enhancing engagement, and increasing customer acquisition.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with online audiences by responding to comments, answering questions, and fostering discussions on car-related topics.
  • Brand Knowledge: Leverage extensive knowledge of car brands, histories, flagship models, and market positioning to create expert-level content.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on automotive industry trends such as electric vehicles (EVs), autonomous driving, and hybrid systems to ensure relevant content.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and events that drive engagement and promote the brand.
  • Analytics: Use tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Insights to monitor social media performance, making data-driven adjustments to strategies.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align social media efforts with broader business goals.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with automotive influencers to expand reach and enhance credibility.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of car mechanics, brand histories, and industry trends, with the ability to create content around these topics.
  • Community Engagement: Experience building and engaging with vibrant online communities, particularly within automotive forums or groups.
  • Creative Skills: Proficiency in content creation, including photography, video production, and graphic design.
  • Analytical Skills: Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex automotive concepts.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Passion for Cars: Genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry, with up-to-date knowledge of the latest innovations and trends.
