- Location: Remote
- Job Type: Contract
- Salary: $1.3K – $1.8K monthly
Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with brand guidelines and objectives for Meta and LinkedIn platforms.
- Content Creation & Editing: Use Canva to edit and create on-brand graphics, videos, podcasts, and reels, including editing 1-2 podcasts per month.
- Social Media Posting: Schedule and manage consistent social media posts, ensuring active engagement with the audience.
- Community Engagement: Respond to inquiries and nurture warm leads through meaningful conversations with the online community.
- Newsletter Strategy & Event Promotion: Promote events and grow the mailing list by driving newsletter signups and social media visibility.
- Market Research: Identify leads, trends, and opportunities for better audience targeting and outreach.
- Execution: Blend strategic planning with hands-on content execution to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

- Content Creation Skills: Proficiency in Canva for creating and editing videos, podcasts, reels, and graphics.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the outdoors industry, leadership, or coaching is a plus.
- Event Promotion: Demonstrated experience in promoting events via social media and newsletters.
- Market Research: Ability to conduct research to identify new leads and engagement opportunities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently with flexibility, maintaining alignment with the team’s goals.

Responsibilities
- Team Coordination: Lead and organize the marketing team’s content calendar, ensuring all team members meet their content deliverables across social media, video, and blogs. This includes helping with content creation and ensuring seamless execution.
- Social Media Strategy & Management: Help develop and execute the social media strategy across platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Lead community engagement, and coordinate content posts to ensure brand visibility and consistency.
- Content Creation & Support: Use Canva for social media graphics and sales support for corporate clients. If needed, assist in creating videos (using CapCut), blog posts, and repurposing existing content to align with brand strategies.
- Pinterest Channel Launch: Assist in the launch and management of a Pinterest channel to expand the brand’s reach.
- Event Promotion: Participate in promoting events through social media channels and newsletters, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.

- Experience: 2+ years of experience in social media management and content creation, with familiarity in Shopify being highly advantageous.
- Tools Proficiency: Proficient in Canva, and AI tools for content creation and optimization. Familiarity with CapCut and SEO best practices is advantageous.
- E-Commerce Knowledge: Experience with Shopify and knowledge of other e-commerce apps is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a willingness to use WhatsApp for team coordination.
