Graduate Trainee at Siat Group is a one-year intensive, immersive, and hands-on initiative designed to nurture young talents and cultivate the next generation of leaders for its businesses.

This program focuses on driving strategy and expansion in the palm oil agro-industry and edible oil sectors.

Locations: Edo and Rivers, Nigeria

Program Overview:

The SIAT Group Graduate Trainee Program offers a comprehensive one-year training experience aimed at developing skilled professionals to support the group’s strategic goals and business growth in the palm oil and edible oil industries.

Scope:
The program will involve hands-on training across the group’s affiliated integrated palm oil businesses, including:

  • Presco plc, Edo State, Nigeria
  • Siat Nigeria Limited, Rivers State, Nigeria
  • Ghana Oil Palm Development Company, Eastern Region, Ghana

The next cohort of the program will commence on July 1, 2025.

Units/Departments and Academic Backgrounds:

The integrated nature of the business provides diverse opportunities across various academic and professional disciplines.

Graduates with degrees in the following fields are encouraged to apply:

  • Agriculture, Agronomy, and Agricultural Engineering
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Supply Chain, Inventory, and Logistics
  • Business Administration, HR, IT, and Data Analysis
  • Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, Food Technology, Process, Chemical)
  • Environmental and Social Sciences, Sustainability Studies, Community Development, Occupational Health and Safety

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 26 years or younger (born in 1999 or after).
  • Hold a B.Sc./B.Tech degree or higher in any of the listed fields from a recognized and accredited local or international university.
  • Have a minimum of a Second Class Upper division.
  • Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program by April 2025, with a valid discharge certificate.
  • Be computer literate, in good physical health, and willing to work and live in remote rural areas.
