The Global China Fellows Program is a fully funded fellowship initiated by the Global China Initiative (GCI).

This fellowship will be at the Boston University in the United States. It’s a fully funded fellowship program for applicants from all around the world.

The GCF fellowship aims to engage the participants in policy-oriented research and inform them on China’s role in reshaping global affairs.

Fellows will engage and work with the Boston University researchers.

The Primary objective of the Global China Fellows Program is to train and mould the upcoming Generation of thought leaders who can contribute to policy-relevant research on China’s overseas economic activities and engagement.

Participants will engage with the GDP Center researchers, BU faculty members, and Global South-based institutions to conduct policy-relevant research on China’s overseas economic activities and engagement.

Fellows are paired with a BU faculty member or GDP Center Senior Academic Researcher to collaborate on one of the four GCI workstreams:

  • Data Analysis for Transparency and Accountability (D.A.T.A.)
  • Forestry, Agriculture, Indigenous Rights and the Belt and Road Initiative (FAIR-BRI)
