Job Summary
- The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic and sales.
- his role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals.
- Manage and oversee the company’s social media accounts on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (including text, images, videos, and graphics) that resonates with our target audience.
- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, and report on key metrics such as engagement, reach, traffic, and conversions.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build strong online communities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, design, customer success) to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Implement and manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget management and performance tracking.
- Organize and run social media promotional activities to boost engagement.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage social media crises and handle any negative feedback or issues professionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager for 2 – 3 years.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create and curate high-quality, engaging content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social platform insights).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
- Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proximity to Lagos is important.
Salary: N150,000 monthly.
