TTC commenced operation in 2003 as TTC organization and was later, in 2007, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission as TTC Mobile Limited.
We are in the business of manpower development for the telecom industry, via delivery of practical telecom training.We have over 10 years corporate experience in training delivery.
Aside our regular corporate training for companies, and retail training for fresh graduates, TTC Mobile has successfully deployed various grass-root-oriented trainings programs.
Job Description
- The ITern is looking for a skilled and knowledgeable IT Trainer with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity, IAM/Azure Administration, AWS Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security, DevOps, and Cloud Platform Engineering.
- As an IT Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on training programs to students globally.
- You will guide them through real-world applications of cloud technologies, security practices, and DevOps methodologies, ensuring they are prepared for the IT industry’s most in-demand roles.
- This role offers the flexibility to work remotely and contribute to the growth of IT professionals worldwide by sharing your expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
Course Delivery and Instruction:
- Deliver structured training programs for students in one or more of the specialized courses (listed above).
- Present course materials in a clear and engaging manner, incorporating both theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on labs.
- Ensure students gain proficiency in real-world tools, technologies, and frameworks relevant to their courses.
- Conduct live virtual training sessions and provide one-on-one mentorship as needed to support student learning.
- Create a collaborative learning environment where students feel comfortable engaging and asking questions.
Curriculum Development and Improvement:
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to ensure course content is up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.
- Customize training materials to suit varying levels of expertise and ensure students are adequately prepared for industry certifications.
- Continuously review and enhance course materials, incorporating feedback from students and industry developments.
- Design real-world projects, case studies, and assessments that allow students to apply their learning to practical scenarios.
Student Support and Engagement:
- Provide ongoing support to students throughout the course duration, answering queries and offering guidance.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Conduct assessments and quizzes to evaluate the progress of students and help them improve their weak areas.
- Offer career advice and guidance on industry certifications, job readiness, and career pathways.
Technical and Practical Focus:
- Ensure students develop hands-on skills in relevant tools and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and cloud security tools.
- Simulate real-world environments during training sessions to give students practical exposure to troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment.
- Provide insights into current trends and practices in cloud computing, cybersecurity, DevOps, and platform engineering.
Course Management and Administration:
- Manage course schedules, ensure timely completion of training sessions, and communicate effectively with students regarding timelines and course progress.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, performance assessments, and certifications.
- Collaborate with theITern’s administrative team to handle any logistical or technical issues related to course delivery
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or related fields. Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, CCSP, CISSP, DevOps) are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Cybersecurity Analyst
- IAM/Azure Administration
- AWS Cloud Architecting
- Cloud Security Engineering (Azure or AWS)
- DevOps/Platform Engineering
- Cloud Security (CCSP or similar certification)
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), and cybersecurity tools (SIEM, firewalls, IAM).
- Training Experience: Prior experience in delivering technical training courses (online or in-person), including curriculum development and student engagement.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner.
- Certifications: Industry certifications relevant to the course topics are highly desirable, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or CISSP.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching styles and materials to accommodate varying levels of experience and backgrounds.
