Job Summary
- We seek a part-time remote, talented, experienced WordPress Developer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development practices, excellent coding skills, and the ability to create & maintain high-quality websites.
- You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development maintenance and customization
Location: Enugu, (Remote)
Job Type: Part time
Salary:N70,000 – N150,000 / Month
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, and availability, and managing all technical aspects.
- Add plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Customize and extend WordPress functionalities using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and scalability.
- Implement security measures to safeguard websites from vulnerabilities and threats.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and team members as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience with 2 years experience
- Experience with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor.
- Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with website optimization tools and techniques.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website analytics tools.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
