2026 Learn Africa Scholarship Program For African Women

2026 Learn Africa Scholarship Program For African Women

Women for Africa Foundation is launching a new call for applications for the Learn Africa program, an initiative that, over the years, has opened real opportunities for training, research, and leadership to 462 African women, helping to strengthen their role in the development processes of their countries.

The 2026 edition marks a step forward in the evolution of the program, with the awarding of more than 100 scholarships, including 28 continuation scholarships, which will allow for the continuation of academic careers already begun, while incorporating new scholarships in a growing number of disciplines.

The program continues to grow with the addition of new institutions, such as the FUNIBER group, which offers a master’s scholarship in Portuguese or French at the European University of the Atlantic, thus expanding the possibilities of access to training in different socio-linguistic contexts in Africa, and the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of Seville (IRNAS), which begins its journey in the program with an interesting face-to-face research scholarship.
