Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer at African Steel Mills Nigeria Limited
- Participate in day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical machinery and control systems.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical panels, motors, and instrumentation.
- Assist in monitoring power distribution systems and energy usage across production units.
- Learn and apply best practices in plant safety, electrical installations, and automation.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Document electrical processes and generate performance reports.
RequirementsÂ
- B.Sc. or HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in industrial systems, automation, or electrical power engineering.
- Eager to learn in a practical, fast-paced environment.
- Resides in or willing to relocate to Ikorodu, Lagos.
