Ready is seeking a Data Engineering Intern to support geospatial research and AI-driven data systems. This role blends GeoAI, data engineering, and AI agent development in a production-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct large-scale geospatial analyses (tree canopy, terrain, spatial extraction)
- Build and document reproducible workflows
- Develop SQL, Python, Airflow ELT pipelines, and modular dbt models
- Contribute to data quality systems and DataHub documentation
- Build AI data agents (LangChain, LangGraph) and RAG pipelines

Iterate on text-to-SQL systems and evaluate agent outputs
Requirements
- Master’s/PhD candidate in CS, Data Science, GIS, or related field
- Strong Python and SQL fundamentals
- Experience with Airflow, dbt, and GIS tools (PostGIS, GeoPandas, QGIS)
- Familiarity with AI agent architectures and geospatial ML concepts
