Job Description

Hotel Capitol Lagos is seeking a motivated and competent Graduate Trainee to join its hospitality team.

The successful candidate will support management and team members in daily operations while gaining practical experience in hotel administration and service delivery. The role also involves supervising hotel operations and ensuring smooth coordination across departments.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc/BEd) or HND in any discipline and must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor staff performance
  • Assist managers with daily operational activities
  • Prepare and analyse daily operational reports
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and meetings
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Collaborate with management to plan and improve workflow
  • Support the implementation of new policies
  • Assist various departments as needed
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure full compliance with company rules and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BSc, BEd, or HND in any discipline
  • Completion of NYSC is mandatory
  • Must reside within Ojodu, Ogba, Agege, Ikeja, or Ketu axis
  • No prior work experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities effectively
  • Demonstrate strong work ethics and professionalism
