Nethermind is seeking a highly analytical, security-focused Zero Knowledge/Cryptography Auditor to rigorously evaluate the correctness, soundness, and security of advanced cryptographic and ZK systems powering decentralized protocols.
What you’ll do
- Audit cryptographic protocols, ZK proof systems, zkDSL circuits, and zkVM programs
- Identify vulnerabilities, privacy leaks, and soundness issues in production systems
- Collaborate closely with security engineers and researchers across Ethereum and L2 ecosystems
- Design and improve internal security and auditing tools

Clearly communicate findings to clients and internal teams
What we’re looking for
- 1+ year experience auditing cryptography or zero-knowledge systems
- Strong theoretical and practical cryptography foundation
- Hands-on experience with ZK systems (e.g. Groth16, PLONK, Halo2, Bulletproofs)
- Proficiency in Rust; experience auditing Rust codebases preferred
- Familiarity with zkDSLs (Circom, Noir, Cairo, Halo2, etc.) and zkVM architectures
