The Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme is an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Development designed to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment among students of state-owned tertiary institutions.

The Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP) seeks to train and set up eligible undergraduates with exceptional entrepreneurial drive.

Criteria for the 2026 Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Programme
  • Be students of Delta State-owned universities, including the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Delta State University (DELSU), Southern Delta University (SDU), and Dennis Osadebay University (DOU).
  • Be of Delta State origin,
  • Be between 18 and 35 years of age,
  • Be in the 200 Level, 300 Level, or their penultimate year.
  • Possess a minimum CGPA of 2.5 is required, alongside an innovative and bankable business idea.
