Civil Science, a leading engineering and design firm, is hiring a Visual/Graphic Designer to lead visual branding and creative design across the company.

This role is ideal for creative designers with a strong background in graphic design within the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.

Position: Visual/Graphic Designer

Location: Remote (United States)
Employment: Full-time

This position will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of Civil Science, producing creative assets for internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities

As Visual/Graphic Designer, you will:

Lead visual branding across the company, including proposals, marketing materials, digital campaigns, and conference collateral
Translate complex engineering content into clear, engaging visuals
Design polished layouts and graphics for both print and digital platforms (infographics, presentations, flyers, banners, slide decks, etc.)
Develop consistent marketing materials tailored to different teams and project types
Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, project managers, and cross-functional teams to align visual content with company goals
Support digital initiatives such as web graphics, social media assets, and animations/GIFs
Partner with marketing to shape strategic visual communication

These responsibilities require both creative excellence and a deep understanding of how design supports business communication.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within the A/E/C industry
Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility and foundational design skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with multiple teams
Ability to translate technical ideas into clear, visual storytelling
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience is preferred

Additional Role Requirements
